5K Race / Fun Run

Proceeds of this event benefit local Academic Scholarships and Youth Education Programs.
Location
The Kennedale Town Center is located at 405 Municipal Drive and Business 287 next to City Hall. Click on the map to the right for exact directions.
The Course
The 5K Race (chip timed) is on an out-and-back certified course (TX1103ETM). The non-timed Fun Run is an out and back 1 mile course that follows the first half-mile of the 5K race. Detailed course map available here.
Parking
Parking is available around the Kennedale Town Center. Early arrival at the race site is encouraged to avoid congestion.

Race Day Registration will close twenty minutes before the race starts (7:40 AM).
Packet Pickup
Packets will be available on Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23, between 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., at the The Runner.
T-Shirts
Entrants, who register or pick up packets before race day, will be guaranteed a shirt. Race day registrants will receive shirts as long as they last. Pre-registered entrants are guaranteed shirts only until ten minutes before race starting time. Shirts will not be mailed or saved if you do not pick up your packet on time.
Awards
In the 5K Race, awards will be available for Male/Female Overall, Masters Overall plus normal 5-year age groups. The age groups are (based on your age as of race day): 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.
All Fun Run participants will receive a commemorative participant ribbon.
Race ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the race at the Kennedale Town Center Park. Awards and participant ribbons will not be mailed if not present.
Prize Money
Each overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers will be awarded prize money:
1st place: $125
2nd place: $ 75
3rd place: $ 50
Refreshments
Refreshments served to participants after the event include drinks and a variety of fresh fruits.
Race Results
